Nick Oliver

Nick qualified as a solicitor in 2019 having completed his masters in law with distinction from the University of Law in Guildford.

Nick sits in the litigation department where he advises on a broad range of contentious matters involving both individuals and corporate clients. He has experience of litigation in the High Court and of settling disputes through negotiation. Nick focus is on property litigation where he regularly advises clients on Landlord and Tenant Act claims for both commercial and residential property, building and construction disputes and enforcement of rights over land. Nick also advises clients on a variety of commercial matters including commercial lease negotiations.

Prior to training as a solicitor Nick was a forensic scientist for 13 years working along side the police on many high profile and serious crimes. Nick frequently attended court including at the Old Bailey as an expert witness which has provided him with invaluable court room experience.

Outside of work, Nick’s interests include walking and rock climbing, however most of his spare time is dedicated to his two young children.
