Luke Thornhill

Luke is a trainee solicitor based in our Didcot office, working within the Private Client department.

Work and Clients

Luke assists clients with a wide range of matters including drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, advising on probate and the administration of estates, Inheritance tax and trusts.

Luke supports clients through sensitive and often complex situations, ensuring their personal affairs are handled with care, professionalism and intelligence. He brings a calm, empathetic, and transparent approach to every case he handles, providing tailored solutions to every client’s needs and circumstances.

Route to Slade Legal

Luke graduated with a degree in Classics at Oxford University.  He is currently progressing through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route, Luke successfully completed his first round of exams in early 2024. Once qualified, Luke plans to specialise further in personal taxation, with a particular interest in Inheritance tax planning and Capital Gains Tax mitigation.
