Route to Slade Legal
Maryam earned her LLB Law degree at Oxford Brookes University and sought practical experience before continuing her studies. She began her legal career as a Paralegal in Criminal, Family, Civil, and Military law at a firm in Oxford, where she focused on Prison Law, Police Station matters, and Youth Court cases. While she enjoyed this work, she felt drawn to explore other areas of law. This led her to Private Client law, which she quickly discovered was her true passion.
After researching the CILEX qualification route, Maryam found it aligned perfectly with her preference for combining practical experience with formal education. Initially working in Oxford, she decided to move closer to home in Abingdon and reached out to Slade Legal, who welcomed her into their team.
