William Cowan

William is a senior specialist private client lawyer with over 11 years’ legal experience. He is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Work and Clients

William advises on all aspects of Private Client matters. His expertise covers among other matters drafting and completing Wills, advising on inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters, administering estates (including on behalf of the Firm as executor), advising on and drafting deeds of variation, advising on settlements and administering trusts and advising on and acting in relation to powers of attorney and acting as deputy.

William combines outstanding technical expertise with common sense and pragmatism.
